Help All Kids Succeed in Math by Starting Early

  • Support CyMath financially
  • Donate by searching for CyMath at ISU Foundation link.
  • Provide outreach grant funds that can be used towards math support for in-need groups.
  • Get your unit to support CyMath.
  • Get an alum donor or a company to support CyMath.
  • Tutor for CyMath (math for K-8) – in person at Sawyer and ISU or by Zoom:
  • Become a tutor by signing up HERE
  • Personally ask your grad students, postdocs, or class students to consider tutoring.
  • This is a great way for them to improve teaching/communication skills!
  • Help recruit tutors – undergrads or grads – email us for a blurb.
  • Recruit Grade 3 – 8 students for Cymath.
  • Inform parents who can benefit from free tutoring
  • Give them the link to this FORM
  • Inform parents about the need for early math skills
  • Direct them to our Math For All page for suggested resources
  • Add Math Practice or Math Practice Awareness to your Program
  • Extension/4-H: Use info or slides from HERE to provide this awareness.
  • Youth Programs/Activities: Add a 30-minute Khan Academy practice to your program (or ask us for suggestions).
  • Provide this information to all parents in your program.
  • Start your own Math Tutoring + Practice Program for kids in grades 3-5, 6-8, or all of them.
